Sending an email or changing a calendar reminder does not amend insurance. Wait for written confirmation showing the correct date and time before using the vehicle.
When plans overrun
Consider the exact policy expiry. If the insurer cannot change or extend the policy, a separate new arrangement may be needed. Never assume continuing to drive is covered while a request is pending.
